Hailing from Los Angeles, Given Haley has cultivated a sound for himself that strikes somewhere between woozy alt-pop and melodic hip-hop, which you’ll hear through his seven-track Unfolding EP. On that record is standout track ‘Self Control’ featuring the honeyed vocals of UK R&B artist Izzy Bizu.
The “cute nostalgic feel” as Bizu puts it makes this track a lusciously enjoyable listen, evokes by the dreamy, lofi production, sparkling synths, laidback guitars and alternative beatwork.
