New Orleans has always been a treasure trove of artistic depth and talent. From blues, through to jazz, R&B and in more recent years Hip-Hop. Natalita is a singer-songwriter whose roots are currently anchored in the historic American city. She has just released her new EP ‘6’, one of the singles from this EP is a brooding electronic-pop gem called ‘Break Your Jaw’.
“‘Break Your Jaw’ is written from the perspective of a healing being who is allowing pleasure into their life after trauma. Sex can no longer be a senseless act. It is a sacrament,” says Natalatia of the new single. “I communicate to my lover; worship me, honor me, be patient with me, earn me. Every part of me.”
