Dutch indie-rockers Loupe release their phenomenal debut album, Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next?

Amsterdam’s emerging indie-rock quartet Loupe has finally unleashed their highly anticipated debut album, Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next?, released via Excelsior Records. Produced by Arne van Petegem (Moss, Styrofoam) and mixed by Beau Sorenson (Death Cab For Cutie, Sparklehorse), the album is an audible adventure that effortlessly combines rich indie textures, gliding lead vocals, and catchy rock melodies. It manages to walk the fine line between atmospheric and bold, delivering equal parts musical depth and beauty in each and every track. All thirteen songs work together to create spellbinding narrative that’s bound to resonates with listeners.

It’s for anyone who is preparing for, is currently going through, or is grappling with their past experiences of young adulthood, life in the big city, and human relationships. These themes are delivered by singer and lyricist Julia, whose expressive vocals and poignant storytelling add yet another layer of depth and emotion to the songs. Together with Jasmine on guitar, Lana on bass, and Annemarie on drums, the band completes the circle to create a fully fledged sonic world in which we can imagine ourselves walking a mile in the protagonist’s shoes.

Another key element if this release is the album artwork, created by Ukrainian graphic designer Karaska, depicts the band standing atop a building, surrounded by vibrant colors and images, symbolizing the band’s embrace of a new bustling environment.
