Tap into ‘All You Can Do Is Try’, Joshua Idehen’s anthem of human resilience

Joshua Idehen‘s latest single ‘All You Can Do Is Try’ is a soul-stirring anthem that resonates with the resilience of the human spirit. As a spoken word artist, poet, and musician based in Stockholm, Idehen delivers a poignant message of vulnerability and perseverance, reminding listeners that sometimes, simply trying is enough. Crafted in collaboration with producer Ludvig Parment, the track seamlessly blends poetry with modern club sounds, creating a captivating fusion of creativity and soul. The performer’s distinctive spoken-word style, combined with an uplifting chorus, results in a profound and empathetic listening experience.

The song addresses the weight of the world and the anxieties we carry, emphasizing that worry and uncertainty are natural parts of life. However, Idehen‘s message remains clear: in the face of adversity, all we can do is try, and that effort alone is commendable. The backstory of the song adds depth to its meaning, with the artist drawing inspiration from personal experiences and moments of serendipity on tour. This authenticity shines through in the lyrics and delivery, enhancing the track’s impact.

“It was the first song we made after we finished the first project, Learn to swim. I was on a UK support tour when Ludvig sent this amazing beat which sounded to me like an expansion on the sounds from ‘I Got You Every Step Of The Way’ so it felt right to continue along the theme of self acceptance. Was trying out some chorus ideas when I found out on one of the tour nights I would be performing to two people. Sucked to hell, I’d been weirdly serene about at the time. I took a photo and texted it to my partner, with the words all you can do is try, and she responded “I promise that will be alright ” and ding! The chorus wrote itself.”

‘All You Can Do Is Try’ is a song that inspires hope and resilience, encouraging listeners to persevere through life’s challenges with grace and determination.
