Miami native Lissa Lo is a musical polymath. The self-taught producer now resides in New York where she is making a name for herself as a talented writer and performer. With influences that range from Lorde and Marian Hill through to the Weeknd, Lissa is beginning to showcase a sound that is all her own.
The bulk of her debut EP ‘Brilliant’ was self-produced from her Brooklyn apartment, with bits and pieces taking their shape between her two working lives on trains, cars and flights.
The title track from Lissa’s debut EP, “explores the confident, alter-ego people transform into when comfortable in an intimate setting.” Her vocals take center stage; soaring above a makeshift beat that pumps with rhythmic interest.
