Three Laws are gearing up for the release of their debut album, and are on course for producing a great record if their new single ‘Siren Song’ is anything to go by. It’s a powerful, rousing journey through the eyes of a lovelorn duo. The writing takes centre-stage, allowing the pair to show off the extent of their individual and combined talents.
“The narrative, although born out of happy memories, alludes to tragedy. The Sirens in Greek mythology lure sailors to shipwreck; in the song there is a suggestion the pull of this turbulent, powerful kind of love, though seductive, leads to pain or even death. Louise wrote the lyric as a metaphor, representing something greater than the two people in the story.”
