“My new song “Better Off” is, at it’s core, a piece about letting go. When you know something is unhealthy, or not bringing you joy no matter how much you wish it would, there is strength in being able to say that that thing – be it a situation, a place, or a person – cannot hold you back. This is a song about strength even when strength is the last option.”
“I wrote this song with one of my closest friends (who is also drummer in my band) Hayley Brownell. We were both going through situations with toxic friendships at the same time, and this song poured out of us very naturally. It’s truly an honor for me to perform this as a duet with her, and we sincerely hope that this speaks to you.”
