New York City’s Val Astaire releases brooding pop cut ‘Say You Will’, a heartbreak anthem for the disheartened. It is the first track of five to be taken from his upcoming album ‘Fever Dreams’; a hazy, emotive piece of writing that sits somewhere between the familiar sound of pop and the honest introspection of emo. With dream-like production, ‘Say You Will’ transports the listener directly into Astaire’s love beaten narrative; delivering a one-two punch of sizzling melody and raw lyricism.

“Say You Will” is an extended hand to the people who struggle like me. A lot of my songwriting has been pretty transparent about my own struggles with depression and anxiety but Say You Will is my chance to reach out to someone, anyone and say “I know. I understand. And I see how heavy this is on you right now. You can lean on me, too.”
