Brighton based boy band Belles, the newbie indie quartet you never knew you needed, have released their brand new single ‘Pass It On’.
‘Pass It On’ begins with undulating, cyclical synths and an oriental soundscape before leading into those punchy, indie vocals pronounced with that bolshy British accent we are all particularly partial to. Pulling inspiration from the likes of Jaws, The Night Café and Inhaler, the band complete their sound with pop sensibilities.
“Pass It On means a lot to us as a band. It’s nice to able to reflect upon the fact that the problems we face daily often aren’t as deep as we think. We hope that people listening to the song can share this feeling with us. This was also our first venture into writing a track with a pop direction in mind, which has been a really fun process.” – Belles.
