Today, these gothy-looking babes share energetic indie tune ‘Happy Alone’, which should please the ears of fans of Wolf Alice and Pillow Queens. Noticeably, there’s a live music essence to this recording thanks to the plentiful guitar fuzz and snare clicks, that we could imagine hearing in a delightfully grungey Dublin venue.
As hinted at by the song’s title, the theme’s of post-relationship angst and liberation is told with blistering honesty in that passionate vocal performance. By the end of ‘Happy Alone’, you’ll be indoctrinated into Magazines‘ declaration of independence and self-belief.
