‘Fall With You’ is the dancefloor tragedy from indie electro-pop duo Darkroom Data

Darkroom Data is the indie electro-pop duo, comprising Irish vocalist Gillian NoVa and Brazilian composer Márcio Paz, who together have forged a unique path into an oversaturated genre by incorporating a plethora of genres and styles into their music. That’s what you’ll find in the pair’s newest work ‘Fall With You’, a dreamy number that tempts you onto the dancefloor with deep-groove bass and vintage synths. The closer is NoVa’s breathy vocals which play on the lines between pop and R&B, ultimately delivering hooks that will work their way into your mind and likely never leave.

Our favourite part of this track is around two minutes in when Latin guitars smoothly saunter in, hinting towards Paz’s Brazilian influence as well as adding a whole new textural layer to this gorgeously genre-blending creation. Overall, ‘Fall With You’ is stylish, cinematic and entirely repeat-worthy.

If you like what you’re hearing, be sure to go check out their blogosphere favourite ‘Hydrogen’ for more Darkroom Data brilliance.
