For those who have never heard of Riskyisme, who is he and what is his music about?

I’m an artist from Toronto Canada who loves making music. I make music about my life and the relatable aspects in it. The ups and downs , the new heights I want to reach or even the relationships that are current or from the past. 

What has been the most rewarding/ most enjoyable highlight of your career so far?

My most enjoyable highlight so far would be the show I headlined after dropping my first tape titled “Mood Switch” in 2019. It really showed me how much people really enjoyed my body of work that I put out and that I had a natural talent at performing. 

What have been some major challenges in your music career so far?

Some of the challenges for myself as an artist would be dropping music consistently and being very active on socials. Another thing would be getting the music more out there, so marketing is an area I plan to really attack more. 

What are you grateful for right now in this moment?

Im grateful for the team and management I have and also the ability to just record freely at the studios I have at my disposal. It’s made me enjoy the music more and has allowed me to build a catalog. 

Physical copies or streaming sites? 

I would say both! Physical copies have more sentimental value to them, and steaming sites bring convenience to accessing music wherever you are. 

What is your most played song of 2023 so far?

I’ve listened to my own song “Summer Freak” a lot this year, but outside of my own music I would have to say Dave and Central Cee “Sprinter”

Different sounding music that hopefully will be copied and manipulated over the next few years. Along with some dope visuals that bring out the creative but comedic side of me.
