Britpop legends The Bluetones announce a new EP & tour dates

The Bluetones, the West London maestros of melodic gold, are finally back from the hiatus. The band has just dropped the bombshell announcement of a new EP, their first since 2010. This marks the beginning of a trilogy of releases on their own label, Brainhole Records.

Remember when ‘Slight Return’ was on constant repeat? Yeah, those Bluetones. Even though they were born in the golden age of Britpop, their influence has been a steady hum in the indie scene ever since. The new EP’s lead single ‘Drive Thru’ is a shot of adrenaline, a sonic declaration of independence from past expectations.

But frontman Mark Morriss promises this isn’t just a nostalgia trip, as he states, “This music is pure passion and vision.”

Get ready to dust off your favorite band tee, because The Bluetones are hitting the road for a UK and Irish tour. Expect a mix of classic anthems and fresh cuts. And if you’ve lost your shirt over the years, the band have launched some brand new merch which you can check out here.

The Bluetones will also be on tour in the UK and Ireland this October and November 2024. Tickets here.
