Returning to those shoegaze textures, the Connecticut-based collective deliver an indie gem that’s intimate, emotive and mysterious.
Essentially, ‘Intertwined’ is a meditation on finding connection amongst the chaos, especially within a world where people are more distanced, disenfranchised and disillusioned than ever. This sense of reaching out comes through the track’s lush textures, layered guitars and swirling vocals; the last of which convey an unforced invitation through dreamy, velvet tones. Backing up this single is an ethereal acoustic version, which strips back the distortion to reveal a quivering melody at the heart of this sensitive track.
