Self-described as “skinny dudes with instruments”, this New York outfit who go by the name of The Aberdeen have just dropped a brand new track called ‘Aurelia’. With shades of Boniface and Pinegrove, ‘Aurelia’ is an exercise in storytelling against a backdrop of pop-rock.
With memorable lines such a “d-d-dirty origami on Saturday spree”, this is one of those tracks that stays with you long after listening. Not only that, but the tightly fitted chemistry of this band makes ‘Aurelia’ comes to life and we can certainly see why The Aberdeen have been booking shows around New York.
