The Maltese boy, girl duo, Berne have released an accompanying visual to compliment their latest offering – ‘To The Lions’. Beautifully set, it pictures the pair back in their hometown, running freely through fields in the sunshine, surrounded by the beauty and enchantment of nature. Shot back in December, this video poignantly portrays the message of the tune itself. A song filled with soft, celestial vocals and cinematic synth work, a subtle air of sadness floats along with the track as it drifts you away, whilst highlighting an important message.

“The concept of the video is to try and represent distressed animals in a confined space (displayed by the frame behind us, and the close up shots) with dreams about being free (this is shown by the slightly zoomed out shots). As the video progresses, we keep edging closer and closer to freedom until we finally reach it, which is when the frame behind us disappears and all we see before us are beautiful fields.
