The Isle of Wight is a small island in the British Isles, and it’s the largest island, it’s not exactly known for it’s music scene. You might have caught wind of local rising Lauran Hibberd in recent years, and now we have a new name for you to add to that regional radar – ODDA.
The musician’s newest single is called ‘Mama’, a stirring, lofi recording that leans into melancholy melodies as he reflects upon all that is being human. His soothing vocals explores insecurity , whether that’s inflicted by ourselves or the perceived judgement from others.
As the song progresses, we’re pulled further into ODDA’s world and we hope to hear more from this promising songwriter soon.
