In his most recent live set, Los Angeles DJ and producer Valentino Khan officially announced his upcoming French Fried EP. Just last week, we featured Khan’s ‘Midnight Pool Party’ which we described as “oozing with the classic four-on-the-floor house sound”. Rest assured, you can find that same energy in his latest EP reveal ‘Blackmail’ via Mad Decent.
If you go back and watch Valentino Khan‘s 11th ‘The Quarantino Khan Show Live‘ stream over on YouTube, you’ll hear how those formative years being submerged into house, techno, French electro and everything in between, have made Khan that artist he is today. For him, it’s all about unwavering energy, propelled by notoriously filthy beats and distorted sounds inspired by his European forbears.

Reflecting on those joyous youthful years and bringing it back around to the advent of his upcoming French Fried EP, Khan recalls:
“My introduction to dance music over a decade ago came from passing by my brother’s room and hearing the distorted electronic sounds that were coming overseas from Europe. This music was fresh to my American ears and created a new culture that motivated me to push boundaries as a producer. This next series of releases blends my own sounds with the inspirations I’ve drawn from this era of dance music. In doing that, I’m looking to continue to evolve as an artist by bringing a fresh perspective to the table sonically. I truly am looking forward to sharing these upcoming records with everyone and showing why I’m so passionate about dance music.“
