24-year-old artist Monticolombi has dropped his fourth single from his solo project and it’s the most perfect listen for these scorching early summer days. ‘Praise’ is an easy-breezy amalgamation of progressive hip-hop beats and smooth-talking melodies that dip into soul, disco and groove.
Like the Suffolk-based artist puts it: “The Inspiration for this tune actually just comes from good memories of blissful summers drinking 7-40-7’s in the sun not having a care in the world.”
Previously part of several hip-hop leaning projects over the years, and most notably Soul Stretch Gang, the multi-talented musician’s solo flight has proved to be one without error as he continues to glide into the hearts and minds of listeners.
