Let’s introduce you to Toronto’s R&B mainstay Adria Kain. She has been touted by the upper echelons of the music media, has opened for highly successful artists like ?uestlove, BJ The Chicago Kid, Miguel and Ari Lennox, and her vocals have been featured by projects like PARTYNEXTDOOR and Allan Rayman. Now, Kain has released her newest original work, a single by the name of ‘Classic’ featuring Leila Dey.
““I’ve recently entered the stage in my life where I finally feel like I can be completely free and whole within myself, especially as a queer, masculine presenting black woman,” shares Kain.
This is the incredible journey behind her new collection of music including fresh’n’free new track ‘Classic’. By celebrating all black women through this smooth and serene soulful listen, Adria Kain also celebrates herself and the uniqueness that makes her absolutely perfect. Part of that identity is her creative side, which she shows off through songwriting, singing and producing music, as well as editing and directing the music video for ‘Classic’.
