For those who have never heard of Albert Gold, who is he and what is his music about?
I would say albert gold is a student of soul music, I grew up on the greats Luther vandross , Stevie wonder, Whitney Houston and Beyoncé they taught me to be vulnerable in songwriting and put your all into the music! I sing about my life ,my friends lives, what I see on tv what effects me in the world. I mostly do music for therapy and getting my feelings out.
What has been the most rewarding/ most enjoyable highlight of your career so far?
Everything haha, but being able to make what I want, I’ve been in rooms with Grammy award winning songwriters the best producers and it’s taught me a lot about confidence and it’s really all about the art which I’ve learned over time
What have been some major challenges in your music career so far?
I would say confidence at first. I was scared about talking so openly about myself, my sexuality, I didn’t think people would care or even listen, but the more open I’ve been the more I’ve seen people reach out and connect with me and my music.
What are you grateful for right now in this moment?
The new music coming out . I’ve been saying this for a year but it’s really the best feeling putting out something you love so much . This ep and single that’s about to come out feels like a new era.
Also my amazing friends who have stood by me , my amazing manager who still believes in me everyone in my life right now

I love them both but nothing beats a physical copy
What is your most played song of 2021?
I would say Erykah Badu – I want you
A playlist you can’t get enough of?
I listen to a lot of music but the playlist I always go back to is alternative R&B on Spotify they always show new artists,
I haven’t heard of and they always end up being my favourite.

Music music music got an ep coming out really soon and hopefully some more shows – I love singing live.
