‘Golden Hour’ is the chilled-out single from Ben Cipolla’s Casa Mia LP

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ben Cipolla, a rising star of the UK indie scene who is using his background in jazz and his penchant for subtle indie-pop sensibilities to break through in the most laidback way possible. The most recent release, titled ‘Golden Hour’, from the Bristol-based Sicilian musician is very in keeping with this chilled-out ethos and it seeks to imbue the listener with an equal amount of relaxed feelings.

‘Golden Hour’ is a spell-binding and delicate track that encapsulates the warmth at the end of a long summer’s day when all of your responsibilities are far away. As Cipolla himself puts it, the song “is about pocketing those calm, peaceful moments whilst on holiday and getting sun-kissed in the most gorgeous Mediterranean city views. It is also about escaping to a place of tranquility after being bombarded with so much noise and morning frustration.”

It all comes through in the patterned acoustic guitar, softly tapped percussion and the artist’s hushed vocals. For more Ben Cipolla, go check out his brand new album, Casa Mia.
