Sage explains that ‘u never did that 4 me’ is, “a song about being jealous of your s/o’s new relationship. You see all these things he’s doing for her that he never did with you, and it makes you feel mad & jealous as hell. I’m pretty sure everyone’s had their moment like this, whether it be with friends or their bfs/gfs so I put all my emotion from past jealousy experiences and created “u never did that 4 me.”
