Acclaimed German artist Felix Räuber shares powerful imagery in ‘Colours’ music video

Following on from Felix Räuber‘s EP title-track ‘Autsider’, the German pop artist is turning to another big issue to explore in his newest release ‘Colours’.

As you’ll gather from the songs poignant lyrics and form the music video’s powerful imagery, ‘Colours’ raises the dependency of toxic relationships in relation to domestic violence, which has become an ever-more present issue across the world throughout the course of the Covid-19 crisis.

The upbeat folk-pop instrumentation keeps the listener tuned into Räuber‘s important message as he sings about the impact of domestic abuse from the perspective of the victim. True to his art, the musician also puts himself at the certain of the music video, allowing hands to physically touch and push his body in order to portray the at-home violence.

If you live in the UK and are suffering domestic abuse, call the National Domestic Abuse Hotline (0808 2000 247), which is free and open 24-hours.
