We all know those feelings of early, all-consuming stirrings of love. The kind that keeps you up at night and distracts you from those daily tasks. Nghtfall, the emerging Canadian singer-songwriter, has releases a new song that captures just that feeling, except here’s the catch, it’s set during a modern-day quarantine.
As Nghtfall shares: “This song is about the struggle of being attracted to someone during quarantine and not being able to act on it. The sonic inspirations came from listening to old pop-punk from my childhood like Fall Out Boy, as well as newer artists like The 1975 and Phoebe Bridgers.”
‘Alone’ is a solid pop-rock tune filled with yearning and the sense of seperation.
