Bedroom-pop artist Orlando shares dreamy ’10 Hours’

Orlando is a British artist greatly inspired by the likes of American indie-pop names like Boy Pablo, Omar Apollo, Rex Orange County, while bringing his own quirky UK style in the mix. New recording ’10 hours’ is easily the most lo-fi offering from the young newcomer who wrote and recorded this track in just one evening on his vintage wurtlitzer.

The whole song centers around the repeatedly line, “ten hours since you read by text”, summoning up that gut-wrenching feeling of waiting on someone for an answer, for a hint of their intentions, for an end to the lingering suspense. The raw elements and warm atmosphere evokes by this song presents such an intimate moment from Orlando; it’s vulnerable and honest.
