For those who have never heard of Nora Lilith, who is she and what is her music about?
Hmm, I’d say I’m an autodidactic vocalist/songwriter/producer who makes lo-fi beats and loves to sing, who is committed to always reinventing herself creatively and curious about the unconventional.
What has been the most rewarding/ most enjoyable highlight of your career so far?
I’ve moved through so many different stages of my musical timeline, but I think in more recent times the most rewarding thing has been learning how to produce. Its something that is still relatively new for me and something I’ve just for the most part taught myself. As someone who can be quiet inpatient with myself, learning this new instrument has reminded me of my own agency and given me the creative freedom and exploration I’ve always desired. It feels like a very precious gift to myself!
What have been some major challenges in your music career so far?
I think the most challenging bits so far have been less external and more to do with my own relationship to my music. For the past several years I’ve felt relatively out of touch to my creative spark, and really struggled with perfectionism and being overly critical of myself. I felt so disconnected to my voice, which is my anchor into music, and often times didn’t feel like the different layers or pillars of creativity within me lined up. I’ve learned more and more, that this relationship is something I have to delicately cultivate within myself, in how I treat and show up for myself.
What are you grateful for right now in this moment?
I’m grateful for how music allows me to develop a deep sense of intimacy with myself!

No physical copies, but pretty much all streaming sites.
What was your most played song of 2020?
Pretty much all the songs on h hunts album ‘Playing Piano for Dad’. I listened to that album on repeat every day haha as it really helped ground me.
A playlist you can’t get enough of?
My mood is ever changing, I usually just listen to my daily mixes and they change periodically.
