For those who have never heard of Luis Ake, who is he and what is his music about?
Luis Ake is a strange human being. He looks like an upstart, only wears suits and rides around in an old Porsche. He spends most of his time researching the phenomenon of romantic love and its trying to find answers on this inscrutible topic. 

What has been the most rewarding/ most enjoyable highlight of your career so far
Meeting all those beautiful people on tour. Being able to travel the world. I enjoy that every time!


What have been some major challenges in your music career so far?
I guess to not repeat myself. Due to the way the algorithm is treating our music, us musicians are supposed to repeat one sound, to serve this one special audience which likes our most popular song. It is tempting to do that, because you get rewarded with plays, likes and clicks. It feels nice! Its just not what I think is right. I dont do music for the plays, Im also not a person providing a service. I do this for myself, so I try not to repeat and always challenge myself. 

What are you grateful for right now in this moment?
Being able to play shows again. It is quite exhausting but also a lot of fun. Everything makes sense again!

Physical copies or streaming sites? 
Im not a nostalgic person, but I do download all of my music before I archive it properly. I guess that fits right in between!

What was your most played song of 2020?
Endless Summer by Scooter.
