23-year-old Safiyyah pulls back the layers with single ‘Let You In’ highlighting a new level of intimacy shown from the young singer/songwriter as she bares all. Oozing with vulnerability, and contrastingly combined with afrobeat elements, ‘Let You In’ is soft yet gently fiery. Marking the first single from her upcoming EP look out for a collection of songs from Safiyyah in February 2021.
Delving even deeper, she explains, “It’s more of a personal song to myself, it’s about my characteristics. Being introverted but selectively extroverted, letting someone into my world, leaving motives way too soon. A song where people can relate to being a bit reserved but around the right people they come alive”.
