We’ve noticed a themes to the tracks we’ve been covering this week – pick-me-ups. Songs that are giving us that much needed lift to get us through the week and next on our rotation is ‘Let Me Know’ from Toronto’s young shining star Sage Harris. It’s a slick R&B number from start to finish and for the more astute listener, you might be getting a nostalgic sense from guest feature Jagged Edge. Yep, the same group who gave us ‘Where The Party At’ with Nelly. In fact, this new tune is something of remake on the original, made as a collaboration between Harris and Jagged Edge‘s Brian Casey.
As you can imagine, Harris was pretty stoked about the whole thing: “A dream come true is an understatement to how honoured I feel to have a legendary R&B group whom I’ve admired for my whole life share a song with me. I will forever be grateful and hope the world and R&B lovers feel the same way about the song as I did making it.“
