Teased across the board over the past year with the introduction of ‘Power Over Me’ to the addictive ‘Back to You’ featuring Desiire, Toronto based Lexxicon’s 11-track long album is here for the world to hear.
Continued to follow the fictional tales of an island paradise and set on two lovers, Lexxicon portrays the recurring theme through a string of buoyant and romance-driven singles infused by the influence of dancehall/ Afro-fusion. Though influenced by the wonders of WizKid and Stefflon Don, Lexxicon champions the world of his own stories and heritage through the works of his own sounds and production that are loved by many.
Speaking on his latest album, Lexxicon shared: “This is definitely my best body of work so far, and I can’t wait for the world to hear what I have been putting together for the last two years.” And we think so too. Partnered with eye-catching music videos, a self-authored fiction novel, and a journey that we can all resonate with, artistry is not only found in music but also further afield as he continues to mature and grow into an all-rounder artist.
With multiple albums to his name and Tropicon Island now out, Lexxicon 2021 successes will take him higher than ever into 2022.
