For those who have never heard of Will Evans, who is he and what is his music about?

A lifelong surfer and environmentalist, Will Evans’ songs speak to the importance of connecting with – and protecting – the earth. At a time when so many are looking for words of inspiration and reassurance, his songs deliver messages of family, love, hope, and inclusion.

What has been the most rewarding/ most enjoyable highlight of your career so far?

Becoming a father, and finding balance.  

What have been some major challenges in your music career so far?

Finding balance. Lol  

Staying true to the craft and not getting pulled out of flow, being authentically me.  

Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind your current album?

Many of the songs are attributed to becoming a father, as well as the current political and environmental challenges that we face. Certainly reflecting on the pandemic and losing the ability to tour was a critical test to finding purpose in a new world.  

What are you grateful for right now, at this moment?

My family.  My health. The little things in life.  Having a nice meal and conversation with a friend. All the things I feel more privileged to have the opportunity to do these days.
