Majestic Casual signee, glue70 has dropped his next instalment of twin track releases in the form of the super summery ‘Days Go On’ and the well loved ‘Til You Say.’ The second run in double releases from the Mancunian and it seems as if we are beginning to witness a rather unique, innovative and welcome pattern.
‘Days Go On’ is a laid back, summer jam, containing blissed-out background beats and effervescent futuristic chill-hop which sums up the glue70 MO: to be the personal soundtrack you had no idea you needed. Oozing with rubberised basslines and gentle synths, it’s the earworm vocals that congregate, resulting in pure, unadulterated sonic sunshine.
Leading up to his highly anticipated LP release – ‘2070’ it is clear we should expect to see more marvels from the mysterious producer as all the pieces are set to propel him and his signature blend of mercurial electronica(aka “gluestep”) to new heights.
