Making his Unrecorded debut, Johnny Kulo is the India-born, Berlin-based artist who is sure to melt a few hearts with his sumptuously groovy new single ‘Wrong’. Inspired by true events of the artist’s life, Kulo candidly admits to his past mistakes but in a way that says “hey, we’re only human”.

“I imagine the track will make you reminisce, a cheeky escape to a memory that was precious at the time. Wandering into the idea of what could’ve been and what still could be. A song to send to your ex, an apology note of sorts. I don’t think every song needs to be immensely layered with emotion, I’d love for people to just get lost in the groove.”
And the deep-cut grooves are certainly something we can get lost in, decorated further with chilled backbeats, soulful toplines, indie-R&B melodies and lustful guitars. We’ve also been promised a live performance video of the record on the 30th of September, so what this space!
